No. Every section is marked Core or Supplement at its opening, so you can skip Supplement material cleanly. Of the 323 outcomes, 196 are Core. Chapter 6 (Momentum) is entirely Supplement, so a Core candidate can pass over it altogether.

Every question in Book Two is a genuine Cambridge past-paper question. None are written by us and none are skipped. Diagrams are redrawn as original artwork rather than cropped out of the paper.
